|Contact Information & Mailing Lists
We gather e-mail addresses and/or other contact information via our online mailing list subscription form. Individuals can choose to subscribe to the electronic mailing list, the postal mailing list, or both. We use e-mail and postal addresses for the exclusive purpose of distributing newsletters, press releases, project updates, and other information relevant to the Foundation's activities. The GCNPF never sells, lends, or shares this contact information with any outside individuals, organizations, parties, or agencies.
Individuals may choose to unsubscribe from the electronic and/or postal mailing list at any time. To unsubscribe from the mailing list(s), users may visit the following link: click here to unsubscribe, or they may submit their request via regular mail by writing to Grand Canyon National Park Foundation, 625 North Beaver, Flagstaff, Arizona 86001.
The Grand Canyon National Park Foundation has a secure donation form on its website. Individuals wishing to make a charitable contribution to the Foundation via the website have two options for submitting their donation. Users can either prepare a form that is filled out online, printed out, and then sent to the GCNPF via regular postal mail with a check, money order, or credit card payment. Or, users can submit their donation instantaneously by filling out the secure online donation form and entering their credit card information.
Please note that online credit card donations are not processed in real-time. Rather, credit card payment information is encrypted and transferred via SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and then stored on a secure server holding an authentic secure server certificate issued by VeriSign. The information is then retrieved from a secure, password-protected administration area and typically processed within 72 hours. Two indicators that the GCNPF donation page is secure are the locked yellow padlock located at the bottom right or left of the browser window and the letter "s" following the "http" in the URL address window. With these measures in place, users can be assured that their information will be safely and securely transmitted over the internet.
General E-mail Correspondence
All e-mail correspondence and associated e-mail addresses received by the GCNPF are considered confidential and private and are never shared with or forwarded to a third party (i.e. outside individuals, agencies, organizations, etc.) without the express prior consent from the individual who initiated the correspondence. Additionally, the GCNPF does not automatically add e-mail addresses originating from general correspondence/inquiries to its electronic mailing list unless users specifically request it.
The Grand Canyon National Park Foundation has a "links" page on its website listing a variety of other organizations, foundations, and corporations that relate in some way to the work, mission, or goals of the GCNPF. Such links do not necessarily represent an endorsement of the activities and policies conducted by these entities, nor is the GCNPF responsible for the privacy practices and content of the websites listed on its "links" page.
The Grand Canyon National Park Foundation reserves the right to modify its privacy and security policy at any time.
